Project Monitoring

Each user (and specially project administrators/leaders/coreteam) may be interested in knowing what's happening inside his/her projects through the forge's tools.

Things like the following could be provided by the forge, real-time :

  • most active users in the project
  • areas of most activity in wikis, configuration repositories, lists and other communication channels
  • failed processes, or buggy code if some automatic testing is available
  • unanswered user requests, etc.

This would help to get an idea of what's currently happening, and whom to ask to, or where to help, in a synthetic way, especially for big projects, or projects where users aren't necessarily working at the same pace.
